OUR VISION

We are a nondenominational, Spirit-filled, Bible teaching, Christian church in the Tampa Bay area. Our worship is contemporary, and the Bible teaching is practical and uplifting.

We strive to minister to the whole family: Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry, Family Fellowship, Jr. & Senior High Youth group, and children.

Nurseries and pre-school classes are available during all services. Children's church is available during our Sunday morning service for young ones in K-5th grade.

Our church is very active in world missions. Visit our Missions page to see all the missionaries we support around the world.

Pastor Nick S. Panico

Senior Pastor: Nick Panico
Born in 1956 in suburban Chicago, Nick was raised in typical Italian, Roman Catholic traditions. He gave his heart to the Lord at the Full Gospel Businessmen's International Convention in November 1976 and began attending a Charismatic church in the Chicago land area.

After several years working in management with the telephone company, Nick moved to Dunedin, Florida and began attending Countryside Christian Center, a young, growing church in Clearwater. He volunteered in the church, helping to prepare the sanctuary for Sunday services by taking out the trash and straightening the chairs. After losing his job as a sales manager he joined the church staff as the janitor. It was during this season that Nick learned the importance of faithfully serving the Lord in whatever opportunities are placed before you. The pastoral gifts were soon evident to the church leadership, as Nick's "Singles Sunday School" class grew into a thriving ministry, touching more than 300 singles monthly.

Through his leadership in the singles ministry, Pastor Nick developed several outreach ministries to nursing homes, Juvenile Detention centers, and street evangelism. In 1987 Pastor Nick took his first short-term mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This trip was a life-changing experience for him and for the church. Each year Pastor Nick would lead teams to the mission field, working with missionaries and national Pastors. Hundreds of people were saved on those short term trips, and many of the people from the church came back with a zeal to be involved in the work of the Lord in the church and community. From these trips several people began sensing a calling into full time mission ministry. In the 9 years Pastor Nick lead the mission department of the church, over 60 adults and children were trained and sent to the mission field for full time service. Pastor Nick developed the training and ongoing pastoral care for these mission families.

At the time of his departure from Countryside Christian Center, Pastor Nick was one of the senior associate Pastors and the primary pulpit minister, when the senior Pastor was away from the church. In 1997 the Lord spoke to Pastor Nick that his season at CCC was coming to a close. In December 1997, Global Family Fellowship was born in Pastor Nick's home. This new church plant began with a handful of folks who had a hunger for practical, balanced, bible centered teaching, and a desire to be used to help fulfill the Great Commission. Pastor Nick is a gifted and passionate communicator of God's word. His love for the bible, and his heart to see people released into the destiny God has for them is a hallmark of his ministry. In 2003 he founded the Global Harvest Ministerial Association a fellowship of pastors, ministers, and missionaries. Pastor Nick continues his ministry in missions by teaching and speaking at Youth With A Mission bases and leadership conferences all over the world. He and his wife Elly, along with their four children live in Clearwater, Florida.

Youth Pastor: Jason Dorr

Pastor Jason and Jessica Dorr

Hello! My name is Jason Dorr, and I am a Youth Pastor at Global Family Fellowship in Clearwater Florida. I gave my heart to Christ at the age of four, and was brought up in church and in a good Christian home. When I was in my sophomore year of high school, I was invited to youth group by a friend who really got me plugged in. From there I started building a strong relationship with Christ and really started to seek His plan for my life. When I graduated high school, I had the choice to go to St. Petersburg Junior College (SPJC) or Countryside Christian Training Center (CCTC).

I chose ministry school, and decided that I would get a good foundation in God's word for a year before I went off to college. After the first year, God led me to go the second year and then the third year. And before I knew it, I completed the training center, graduated, and received my license for ministry. I interned at Living Hope Worship Center in Pinellas Park as the Assistant Youth Pastor, and stayed with them for 2 years. Then God laid it on my heart that I wasn't going to be assisting forever, that he had bigger plans for my life. And I prayed and sought God's will, He opened the door for me to be the Youth Pastor at Global Family Fellowship. Glory to God!

OUR VISION

"Totally committed to the Great Commission
& the Great Commandment"

1. We envision a congregation of "World Christians," educated, mobilized, and sent to the un-reached peoples. We will have a primary emphasis on the nearly 2 billion people who do not have opportunity to hear the Gospel. We will pray effectively. We will give sacrificially. We will go obediently. We will challenge every attendee to be personally involved in the Great Commission and give themselves to God's global cause. We will raise up world Christians because we are "Global" Family Fellowship.

2. We envision our church as a sending and filling station for missionaries. Our church will be a place where missionaries are prepared, trained, and sent to the field. We will care for those we send to the mission field by providing them with spiritual, physical, and pastoral support. Global Family Fellowship will also be an "oasis" to those coming off the field who have been broken, bruised, or abandoned in their service to the Lord of the Harvest. We believe the Lord will send us servants of His who need the care and covering of a local church body and we will embrace and adopt them into our church family. We envision missionary housing on the campus of our church where they will find healing, hospitality, and restoration in our fellowship.

3. We envision our church creatively impacting our community to meet its spiritual and physical needs. We believe God has brought, and will continue to bring, people to our body who have unique gifts and talents. We will do all we can to help each person discover those gifts and be released into the fullness of their God-ordained purpose. We believe God will birth ministries so that He can reach this community for His glory.

4. We envision small group ministries within our church body that will provide support, encouragement, and accountability to our members so they will grow to spiritual maturity. We envision small group ministries to meet the discipleship needs of various segments of our church body.

5. We envision Global Christian Academy, a school that will raise up "world changers" and provide affordable, Spirit-filled, Christian education in our community. We believe this will become a reality. This school will prepare its students by imparting a biblical world view. We will teach languages and an understanding of culture so that our students will be able to effectively communicate cross culturally.
