Dominican Republic
Dr. Paul Allyn and his wife, Eileen, have served as missionaries to the Dominican Republic since 1980. They are the founders of Ministerio El Calvario, an organizational umbrella for their ministries and a ministerial covering for ministers in the DR.
The Allyns carry on a unique ministry of church planting, leadership training, health outreaches, revival and renewal crusades, as well as a national conference and seminar ministry. They minister together with a wonderful team of North Americans and Dominicans working side-by-side. They have opened the Calvary Virtual Church Planting Institute in two locations with the students preparing to plant churches at home and abroad.
Dr. Allyn has pioneered a Spanish language radio ministry that reaches thousands weekly. Dr. Allyn has taken his passion for leadership training to the airwaves in his weekly radio program “Un Encuentro Con Los Lideres” (Leadership Encounter) through which thousands are being challenged and trained to grow into the leaders God wants them to be. His radio program “La Hora del Clamor” (The Intercessory Prayer Hour) focuses on spiritual warfare and is being used by God to bring healing and salvation into the homes of people all around the Dominican Republic.
