Dinesh and Rachel live in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, operating North India Community Outreach, NICO. It is NICO’s vision to reach the unreached through leadership training conferences, supporting full time pastors and church planters, children’s outreach programs, homes for children, and sponsorship for the needy.

NICO’s workers have seen 527 salvations, 251 baptisms, planted 7 more churches and started 21 new house groups and 37 Bible studies in the year 2006. One of the baptisms was of an ex-Hindu priest and witch doctor! He gave great testimony of God’s power in his life - healing him when none of his demonic powers could! In a church service he was instantly healed by God and he surrendered his life to Jesus. Today he is filled with the joy of the Lord, testifying of god’s great power and grace. Many others in his family have been saved because of his testimony.

The ministry base is almost finished with a goal of June 2007. We look ahead to the beginning of the ministry that will take place in this building.
