South Africa - “Special Assignment”
We currently train church planters from around the world through the Keystone Project. This has led to many ministry opportunities internationally as well as in the USA.
We continue to focus on sub-Saharan Africa , making disciples and planting churches from “ Cape to Cairo .” This is a diverse region with many different languages, cultures, people groups, and geographic features. The north is dominated by Islam, the east and central regions by animism, and the south by Christianity. There are several key social and spiritual needs that require immediate attention: the horrific devastation of HIV/Aids, ethnic and tribal violence, poverty, and an increasing crime rate.
Our vision is to make disciples and plant churches through CMTM workshops and training manuals. These workshops focus on discipleship training, church multiplication strategies, and leadership development. We are developing a network of trainers and coaches to multiply this training through the Keystone Project and through a movement called “Mission Africa,” which is made up of churches and leaders from 26 African countries and many different denominations.
Prayer Concerns
• Open doors for church planting in the North Africa
• A growing desire for us to continue in an intimate relationship with Christ
• Protection and provision of basic needs for Keystone Project graduates and Mission Africa pastors and leaders
