YWAM El Paso/Juarez
Mary Beth graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL) with a General Studies Degree in Business in 1985. She worked for 10 years with Burger King Corporation in management, marketing and training.
While at Burger King, Mary Beth took her first two mission trips, to Belize in 1986 and to El Salvador in 1992. Both trips were taken with YWAM and deeply impacted her life. She felt the call to missions and attended a DTS in Oregon in June 1993. She did her outreach in the former Soviet Union , a month in Latvia and a month in Ukraine .
Returning to Miami , Mary Beth joined YWAM’s Regional Office for the Caribbean , Central America , and Mexico , leading short term teams. In early 1995, she became the Director of Short Term Ministries. In 1997, Mary Beth moved with the Regional Office to El Paso , Texas – Juárez , Mexico as Director of Short Term Ministries. In the fall of 2000 she also became the Director of Operations.
In 2003, Mary Beth took on additional responsibility of Rancho Los Amigos, the children’s home. She Beth teaches in STS (summer staff) Training, in the DTS, and holds the week-long Financial Care Seminar during the School of Missions and Evangelism (SOME). She has been the guest speaker at several women’s retreats and in local churches.
Mary Beth became the Director of YWAM EL Paso-Juárez in May 2004 and has served in that capacity ever since.
