Africa

In 1984, Clark and Gail began service focused on an unreached people group in Africa . The Whitneys have been involved in evangelism, discipling, bible translation, mercy ministry, media production, partnership facilitation and mobilization. Although they still travel to Africa , they now do much of their work on the computer from their home in Florida.

In 2001, Clark and Gail initiated an international network of intercessory prayers and have been instrumental in starting Summits. These summits bring together those working to reach their focus nation for the purpose of learning from one another and exploring ways to establish God’s kingdom in Africa .

The first two Summits were an overwhelming success. Existing mission efforts have been strengthened or accelerated and new efforts will be launched and be better equipped. The Whitneys are now working on scheduling the next Summit for the spring of 2008. Pray for wisdom in planning it and for the provision of a good location.

The Lord continues to broaden and bless Clark and Gail’s ministry.
